If you click and hold the "Select Box" icon, you will expand the button to

display all options related selection.

With the select circle, you will be able to "paint" a selection by click and

dragging the small circle that will appear on your screen. The lasso

enables you to draw a shape that adds all objects inside to the selection.

Info: A significant aspect of the selection shortcuts is that you can use

them in all editors. The same keys work regardless of the Editor you

have at the moment.
